– 9 – Digital Solutions for Education in Africa Connecting the public and private sectors | Cooperation with the private sector was an important component of the BACKUP Initiative under the RESICODI Action and was therefore considered throughout the entire consultation process. The project team supported partners not only to integrate private sector actors into project implementation but also to use and expand existing links between the public and private sectors. In this way, innovative approaches enabling quick and targeted responses to the COVID-19 pandemic were identified and put into practice. “CSEC gives voice to the segments of society by advocating for change and raising aware- ness and making key contribution to development of education and brings about social change through social account ability, community empowerment, and ensuring good governance. What is unique is the membership that it possesses and their diversity abilities.
